The foundation for Donald F. Dickerson Associates, Inc (DFDA) was laid down in January of 1961 when Donald F. Dickerson joined with three other young engineering professionals and began offering their services to the Architectural community in the Los Angeles Area.
This family owned and controlled woman business enterprise provides professional mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life safety and fire protection services to the building and construction industry through their many architectural, contractor and building owner clients. Dickerson Associates projects have been designed for installation/construction throughout the United States and in many overseas locations. The corporation has established off shore task force offices to facilitate the design and construction of the out-of-country projects. The corporation has, historically, maintained between 20 and 28 personnel which are divided into production and activity centers headed by seasoned professionals. When required, the management staff of DFDA has the capability of expanding the staff. DFDA's staff includes experienced and competent individuals who have been working together for more than ten years. Our professional team is highly respected in the industry for providing a quality/professional service. DFDA's staff is fully knowledgeable with state and local codes with a number of them sitting on Code writing or advisory boards. DFDA is Certified with the County of Los Angeles as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) and is Certified as a Small Business with the State of California. We have full Autocad capabilities. Engineering calculations are prepared using Trace, Dapper and Captor. |
